The Shelbourne Community Kitchen is looking for a Garden Programs Assistant. This is a Government of Canada funded summer position at $18.00 per hour. The successful candidate will have knowledge of gardening, a clear criminal record check, be between 19 and 30 years of age, eligible for work in Canada, and have a driver's license.
Job tasks include working in the two gardens run by The Kitchen, being of assistance to the garden leads, lifting 30 pound containers of produce repeatedly, delivering totes of produce from garden to kitchen, and helping to prepare produce for distribution.
