St. Luke's Library is located in the Lounge in the Hall and presently has more than 820 titles. The books are organized in the library by call number.
Lists of the books sorted by author, title, and call number can be found below.
Over the past three years, we have been able to hire three students, Sarah Stephens, Justine Soles, and Laura Stears, through the Canada Summer Jobs program. They have worked on organizing and expanding the library including cataloguing, labelling, and shelving more than 260 books.
St. Luke's Library features a good local history section (the 971 section) as well as fiction books, biographies, and, of course, lots of books on Christianity, Christian experience, faith, and theology. Featured authors include Herbert O'Driscoll, Phyllis Tickle, Brian McLaren, Marcus Borg, and Joan Chittister.
Please feel free to browse and borrow books from St. Luke’s Library. This is an honour system library, so you may keep the book as long as you would like. To check out a book, remove the card from the back pocket. On the card, put today’s date on the “Date Due”. Print your name and phone number on the card and place the card in the wooden box. See St. Luke's Library Welcome Sheet below for more information on borrowing books from the library.
