As the cost of food continues to climb, the Shelbourne Community Kitchen is reaching out to their community partners (St. Luke's is one of the founding community partners) and local businesses to join in on an Easter Food Drive Campaign. Let’s work together to help keep the Pantry Program stocked this Spring!
From now through to April 20th, the Kitchen is inviting community members to collect non-perishable foods or consider making a cash donation in support of the campaign through Canada Helps.
Through bulk purchasing and the gardens, the Kitchen can leverage every $1 raised and turn it into $10 worth of healthy food!
St. Luke's will have a basket at the back of the church as well as a basket in the hall to collect donations of non-perishable food items. You can make a monetary donation via Canada Helps at the button above or by writing a cheque to St. Luke's and noting that your donation is for the Shelbourne Community Kitchen. We will forward the donations to the Kitchen after Easter Sunday.
