St. Luke Cedar Hill offers a variety of services over Christmas. This is a perfect time to visit St. Luke’s, a historic church in Saanich, to enjoy the Christmas music and the special Christmas services.
The church features beautiful stained glass windows and will be decorated with flowers and greenery for Christmas.
4 pm – Child Friendly Carol Service
The Christingle service is an interactive Christmas Eve service especially for children but enjoyed by people of all ages. A time to remember the birth of Jesus, to sing carols, and to be reminded to carry the light of Christ (Christingle) into the world. The service is about an hour long and is planned especially for children and families. During the service, the children help by adding figures to the empty crèche. The younger children receive Christingle oranges.
7 pm – Contemporary Christmas Eve Service
This Family Communion Service will include carols, candles, a choir, and vocal and instrumental soloists. This service will be livestreamed at THIS LINK.
10 pm – Traditional Christmas Eve Service
This Traditional Communion Service from the Book of Common Prayer will include candles and carols.
10 am – Family Communion Service
