As of Wednesday, October 18:
• The construction site has temporary power and site office is set up.
• Fortis Gas has installed a new gas line to run the current school boilers.
• The staff parking lot access road has a newly marked crosswalk for students to safely cross as they come down the path from Shornecliffe Road.
• Excavation of the site has begun.
• The existing utility lines will be rerouted.
• The updated Daily Physical Activity route map has been sent to families.
• Additional outside time equipment is available.
• The school has been given several large branches from the tree removal to use for art projects. Wood drying for the trees may take up to one year.
• Photos and videos of the construction site are taken regularly.
