Thursday's theme at the Amazing Journey Day Camp was Pray - Jesus teaches us to pray.
Today we talked about praying in terms of words and actions. We prayed especially for wildfire fighters battling wildfires at Sooke Potholes, Jasper, and beyond. We also gathered with elders at Luther Court in their activity room and garden for a multi-generational activity. The campers enjoyed the popsicle treat they received at the end of their visit.
Campers watched a skit, made prayer bracelets and necklaces in Makerspace, had great snacks, heard a story, and sang more songs. Deep and Wide and I am a C (I am a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N) were favourites!
