IT’S TIME FOR SOME SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT!
We are excited to announce the launch of a spiritual exploration/faith formation group, which we are calling SACRED FRONTIERS. It will be led by Revs. Daniel and Joan and Sharon Hallsor, as well as other contributors from time to time.
WHO IS IT FOR?
It is for teens and their parents; adults considering baptism and/or confirmation; anyone who wants to be welcomed into St. Luke’s from another denomination; anyone who would like to formally renew their baptismal commitment; anyone who has faith questions; anyone who wants to deepen their faith outside of Sunday morning.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This is an opportunity to explore some essential faith questions around (but not limited to) baptism, confirmation, eucharist, ministry; the why’s and how’s of what we do as Anglicans.
WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN?
The group will meet weekly starting SUNDAY, MARCH 9 (the first Sunday in Lent). It will end on PENTECOST SUNDAY, JUNE 8, with a celebration of baptism and reaffirmation and welcome. There will not be a session on long weekends in April (Easter) and May (Victoria Day).
WHERE WILL THIS BE HELD?
We will meet in the church from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
WHY?
To grow and deepen our faith in the company of other explorers.
