As Daniel has mentioned, the large Sequoia tree in St. Luke’s parking lot has become a community prayer tree.
Under the tree you will find a box with precut strips of various ribbons. You are invited to come and say a prayer and tie a ribbon to the tree.
It is a lovely feeling under the tree. You feel so sheltered and peaceful. Please take the time to come by and place a ribbon and say a prayer.
We are also inviting kids to paint rocks with messages of hope and drop them off around the tree. Some will be put outside the doors of the carehomes surrounding St. Luke’s to cheer up our elderly neighbours.
