Friday's theme at the Amazing Journey Day Camp was Rest - God gives sabbath for all creation to rest.

On this last day of camp, we talked about how rest is holy. God gives us time to rest, time to spend alone and with one another. All creation needs rest.

We watched the final chapter of the skit about the opening of the Mending House, had ice cream as our special treat, sang lots of songs, had some play time in the playground at St. Luke's, learned some yoga, and had a storytime.

Thanks to everyone who brought food for the Shelbourne Community Kitchen. We took a good collection of donations downstairs to the Kitchen.

Campers picked up their crafts including their colourful squirrel bookends.

And so ends this year's Day Camp! Thanks to all who helped with this wonderful week!
