In among items dropped off for our Spring Fair at the end of April, we found a mystery envelope with a letter and photos. We are wondering if anyone might know the descendants of the people mentioned in the letter or shown in the photos.
We have found an obituary for Vera Palmer Beischer. (Thanks to Christopher Morry's detective work!) Based on the information in the obituary, we have determined that Vera was the letter writer. However, how the letter came back to her and is in an envelope addressed to her with her maiden name is part of the mystery.
We think that someone probably used the envelope as a handy place to keep this collection of photos, the letter, and a bond receipt.
