Pastoral Visits: Pastoral care is offered through pastoral visits, ensuring all people on the parish list stay connected, welcoming newcomers, and providing information on resources available in the local community.
Visitors and Newcomers: All parishioners can offer pastoral care when we ensure St. Luke’s is a caring and welcoming community. We can all be aware of, and welcome, visitors and newcomers. As well, we can make ourselves aware of the resources which are available in the community. A binder of Resources for Seniors is in St. Luke's Library in the Lounge.
Stay connected: We can also all help to ensure that everyone on the parish list stays connected to the St. Luke’s community.
Pastoral Visit Request: If you know of someone who would like a visit from Daniel or from a member of the Pastoral Care Team, please call our Parish Administrator, Neil, at 250-477-6741, e-mail admin@stlukecedarhill.ca or let the Pastoral Care Team Coordinator, Sandra Lindberg, know. Or let one of the Pastoral Care Team members know and they will pass the information along.
Please help St. Luke’s Pastoral Care Team in supporting, nurturing, and caring for all people in our St. Luke’s community.
All members of the Pastoral Care Team have a current Criminal Record Check on file, have completed Safe Church training, and taken a basic or advanced Pastoral Care Team Training workshop from South Island Centre for Counselling and Training.
