No Stone Left Alone
Today, Thursday, November 3rd, students from Cedar Hill Middle School will visit St. Luke's Cemetery for a No Stone Left Alone ceremony. This is the second year this event has been held at St. Luke's Cemetery. The whole school (around 500 students) will be visiting this year. It is very moving to see all the students in the cemetery honouring the veterans. The aim of this event is to educate students about Canada’s rich history of service to country and to remember our fallen by placing the Legion symbol of remembrance, the poppy, at veterans' headstones.
