The Service of Remembrance from November 8th is Available for Viewing
The 2020 Service of Remembrance was recorded and is available to view online at the link below. Because of COVID precautions, we are limited to having 40 people attend services at St. Luke's. So we were unable to invite the community to the service this year. We hope that you will view the recorded service instead. Since we were a smaller group this year, Daniel read a partial list of the veterans rather than the whole list. A full list of veterans in St. Luke's cemetery is available at this link. Please open and view the list at the link to check if your relative's name is on the list. If you would like to add the name of a relative or friend who is a veteran whose name isn't on the list or send further information about the veteran, please contact Barb by e-mail, or St. Luke's Office by e-mail, or phone 250-477-6741. We are always happy to receive further information to add to our records. We look forward to honouring all of our veterans and inviting the community again to Services of Remembrance in the future. St. Luke's Cemetery Newsletters
This e-mail list was compiled from contact information St. Luke’s Cemetery Committee has regarding descendants, family members, and friends of people buried in St. Luke’s Cemetery. While we know that many of you don't live in the Greater Victoria area, please feel free to pass along this e-mail to relatives who live in the area. The e-mail list is used to send out information about special events in regard to the cemetery and a newsletter several times a year. If you do not wish to be on this list to receive these occasional updates, please reply to this e-mail and let me know and I will take you off the list. We also encourage you to visit the Cemetery pages of St. Luke's website. Click on the Read More button below. The Cemetery section of St. Luke's website includes links to a database of veterans buried in St. Luke's Cemetery and links to stories of people buried in the cemetery as well as a link to a database with names and plot locations of people buried in the cemetery. An updated version of the database will be posted soon. For more infomation visit: https://www.stlukesvictoria.ca/community/st-lukes-historic-cemetery
